This class will introduce you to the wonderful world of kiln-formed glass. You will learn about different types of compatible fusing glass, designing your project, techniques for cutting, assembling and how to prepare your pieces for firing. Students can choose from a variety of projects including: jewelry, tiles and ornaments. Basic finishing techniques will be covered. No experience necessary.
This class consists of two sessions, three hours each.

This introductory class will teach you the basics of creating Tiffany style stained glass, also called the copper foil method. You will learn how to cut & grind glass as well as how to foil & solder, creating a small panel. Impress your friends and family with your beautiful handmade work of art! No experience necessary.
This class consists of two sessions, six hours each.
Basic tools will be supplied by Fusion Studios. Should you wish to purchase your own tool set, tool kits are available for $150.00 through Fusion Studios. Since we will specially order the tool kit for you, please order your tools a minimum of one week in advance of your class.
A selection of glass will be provided.

This class meets three times. Attendance at all three sessions is necessary to complete your design. Please note that there is also an $80 materials fee.
Expand on the skills you learned in the Beginning PMC class and learn to create rings from metal clay. Alternative firing methods will be discussed. Beginning PMC class or equivalent knowledge (with instructor permission) is required. Students are required to purchase a PMC kit (included in materials fee).

In this class, you will learn to display found objects in a pre-assembled shadow box.
